1.  How do I use your Wallpaper?

The easiest way is as follows:  Each image is shown in a thumbnail (small picture). Each wallpaper choice is available in two sizes: 800x600 (15 inch monitors) and 1024x 768  (17 inch monitors). Click on the link below the thumbnail for a full size preview of the image. Right-click the full-size preview and select "set as wallpaper" or "set as background.".   The wallpaper you choose will automatically be your new desktop wallpaper!

2.  What if I want to save several wallpaper choices on my computer to use later?

If you just want to save the image to your hard drive, right-click and select "save image as". Be sure you know what folder you are saving the image to. Be sure you are saving the full size image (not the thumbnail). Now when you want to use a wallpaper you have saved, just right click on your desktop, choose "Properties" and then choose Desktop tab. You can then use the browse button to find the folder you saved your picture image in and find the image you want to use.  Double-click the picture/image you want to use and it will set itself as your new wallpaper.

3.  How do I uninstall a wallpaper if I don't want it on my system anymore?

This will depend on how you chose your wallpaper. If you used #1 above (right mouse click on image and set as wallpaper or set as background), you really don't have to uninstall. Anytime you choose another wallpaper from your browser this way, the new one will always replace the old one, so you never have more then one image on your harddrive taking up space. If you still want to completely remove, you can go to your C Drive, go to Application Data/Microsoft/Internet Explorer and look for a file called "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp" and delete it. You can find the directory "Application Data/Microsoft/Internet Explorer " in your Windows directory on Win 95/98/Me. It will be under "Documents and Settings" in XP.

If you used choice #2 above to save/set your wallpaper, simply go to the folder where you saved the image and delete any file you want uninstalled.

If you chose a wallpaper from an image in one of our screensavers, simply go to Windows directory and find a file called "Webshots.bmp" and delete it. Or you can do a search on your hard drive for Webshots.bmp and delete. Keep in mind that when you choose images as wallpaper from our screensavers, each new choice will replace the old so it is not really necessary to delete or uninstall as you will never have more then one image on your harddrive taking up space. More on choosing images from our screensavers as wallpaper can be found by clicking here.

4.  I am using a Wonderscreen and wonder how to change to a regular wallpaper?

Just right click on your desktop, choose "Properties" and then choose Desktop tab. You can then use the browse button to find the folder you saved your picture image in, find the image you want to use.  Double-click the picture/image you want to use and it will set itself as your new wallpaper. Or you can choose a wallpaper from the list that shows in the Desktop tab window.

If you are using a Wonderscreen that takes up the entire desktop, your right mouse click button may not work. Simply choose "Start" button, Control Panel, Display Properties, and choose Desktop Tab and do as explained above.    Note: If you are using Windows XP, click Start, Control Panel, Appearance and Themes, and choose "Change Desktop Background".

5.  How do I get the wallpaper I save to show up in list with other backgrounds?

Download the image (make sure you download the correct size for your monitor) and then open it in a photo editing program of your choice. You can use Paint, which comes with windows. Now choose "File, Save As" and save as BMP format.

Either save as BMP format and move the BMP image to your windows folder on your C Drive (C:/Windows) or save the BMP image directly in the windows folder on your C drive. Now right click on your desktop and choose Properties, and you will find it listed with the rest of your backgrounds when you go to change your wallpaper. Once you do this a couple of times, you will see it gets quite easy!
